I was going to write a little on the fitness aspect of it, but then I got interested in the application of yoga philosophy to the whole situation:
It is funny how one limits oneself from the start. While Wilson embraced the mind-body training intervention, Miller constrained himself with the notion that yoga was “Gumby”. And I think many men have that notion as well. The irony is that yoga was originally dominated by men. Yet, from the 20th century, it was seen as “unmanly” to get on the mat.
