The Sun: Cruelty wears a human face

My second contribution for November in the Sun, only publicised now due to a lot happening in my life (namely the break-in that happened middle of November). This one is about how no creature is more cruel than human beings.

Sometimes the cruelty humans have towards animals just makes me wish I were not lumped together in this race called mankind. Domestic animals, namely cats and dogs, have mental awareness equivalent to a child from one to five years of age. In addition, they have a brain and nerve endings that work as a human’s does.

Would you tie up your baby’s mouth so it cannot eat? Would you muzzle your toddler so it cannot drink?
