Updates – Injured Rotator Cuff

I injured my rotator cuff some time back, probably in May. I kept on working out and practising, pay little heed (although not as bad as the last time when I ruptured my bicep tendon) and about two weeks ago, I must have done something really wrong.

So I have minimised practise. For the first two weeks, no shoulder flexion at all on the injured side, lots of rest, anti-inflammatory pills and electro muscle stimulation therapy. Then for the past 10 days, some shoulder flexion and two yoga practices, aside from anti-inflammatory pills and electro muscle stimulation therapy.

I have to say that the EMS has been really good, it has made my rotator cuff (suspected supraspinatus impingement). I feel better and the right armpit area isn’t sore anymore. It has been good. Yoga practice has focused on muladara and the grounding points. Yesterday, @ Manasa, Manoj helped a lot in modifications. And I felt so much better after practice! Things are looking up!
