Calisthenics has increasingly become more interesting to me. There is nothing better than being able to manage and handle your own bodyweight and the type of lean long muscle you develop is very functional. Among other things, that is why I have been focusing a fair bit on Ashtanga Vinyasa, which is incredibly demanding.
However, from a fitness perspective, there are many other practices and exercises you can use as a workout. Aside from the usual squats, push ups, planks and pull ups, there are myriad of resources you can use. Here are a few videos (and from there you can get references to resources) for you to check out:

Both of these are excellent calisthenics exercises as well as usable in Ashtanga Vinyasa as well (to some extent – for conditioning). I would advice caution on the backrolls though and if you aren’t confident, have neck or spinal issues, then don’t even try it without seeking advice.
What do you think? Have you tried these?
